Half Way Done With The Semester

I did not think that I am halfway done with the Spring Semester at Diablo Valley College. I was not paying attention on what week I am in. My Math 135 (College Algebra) is going OK. I am keeping up with the homework plus doing well on the quizzes since the questions are from the homework and I could use the homework as notes for the quiz. As for the test I have hit a speed bump. I could do the chapter test from the book but doing the actual test has been giving me trouble. I could review my notes from the chapter test since the test is similar to the chapter test but somehow I have difficult time doing well. I did well on the first test but the second and third my grade has gone lower. The fourth test is not until the week before spring break. I’m trying to keep up with the homework and reviewing my notes for that test coming up. Luckily I have a tutor that is working with me. She does not want me to fail Math 135. I don’t want to fail the next test. I refuse to give up. Passing Math 135 is my chance of getting into San Francisco State University in August. I made it this far in the class and I am refusing to give it. I do admit that I have a hard time keeping up with the work since I work five days at Sam’s Club but I need to stay in track and keep a positive thought on making it through. I just don’t want to give up my chances of getting into San Francisco State University in August.
