Picture People, Picture People Not Getting Interview

I was so excited to get an interview with Picture People on Tuesday. I even counted the days until I got the interview. Well my hopes of getting an interview went down suddenly when I arrived. When I got to the place exactly at 11 I waited because the guy that was supposed to interview me was finishing up a family with their order. I just thought heck why don’t I be patience until he was finish with the family. Even the people that work there knew that I was waiting for an interview. They even politely ask me if I needed help. About 25 minutes of waiting he came up to me asking if I could come back at 12 to do the interview. I told him that I had plans and I had to leave the area at that time. He understood that I had plans to attend and told me that he’ll try to get with me as soon as possible. About another 10 minutes past by and he came up to me apologizing for the wait telling me that he can’t interview me today and that he has someone else who is coming in at 12 for an interview. He wanted me to reschedule the interview at a different day and time but this time it would be a phone interview, not in person. I felt that I wasted 45 minutes of not getting an interview. I even bought in my profile of what I did in the past. If he knew that he cannot interview today he should had said so in the first place instead of me waiting. I am not going to call him to do a phone interview. I acted professional and I did the right thing of waiting until he was done with his customers. I wasted my time of waiting and no interview at all.

San Francisco State University Fall 2009

On Monday I got a letter from San Francisco State University telling me my conditional admission for Fall 2009. This was the second one that I got within one year. I got one from last semester telling me my conditional admission for Spring 2009. The difference between the two letters was that the one that I got last semester told that I was an Art Major. The recent one that I got said that I am a Journalism Major. The reason why the first letter said a different major is because the journalism program at SFSU for spring was packed. In order for me to be a Journalism Major I had to be accepted at the college by the fall semester. I was supposed to attend SFSU this semester but I drop Math 135 which would not allow me to get accepted. I am happy that I got the letter once again. I know for a fact that I’ll make it there. My struggle of getting out of community college is coming to an end. Let hope that I’ll be done at SFSU within two-three years.
