A Month Away Until It Is Over

After coming back from Spring Break away from Diablo Valley College I notice that I am one month away until the semester is over. I did not notice it until I look at the class schedule seeing upcoming test and assignment. I am excited that the semester will be over and that I will be transferring to San Francisco State University in the fall. I am sad though. I am going to miss the instructors and tutors that got me where I am now. I can’t forget them since they were a big help. I can’t believe that I made it this far. Also I didn’t expect to transfer from DVC. When I started college I was at Contra Costa College. I wasn’t supposed to be at DVC but I was not going anywhere at CCC. Plus I was avoiding the Middle College students. It was like that I did not leave high school. Also the area where CCC is located was not good. There were too many bad incidents going on there like thief. The instructors ant tutors at CCC were not too helpful. It was hard to get help from them especially if I schedule an appointment to see them. I was lucky to get the help I needed at DVC. The instructors and tutors found out what was wrong with me. They help me out until I understood it. I should be thankful that it is coming to an end. No more long commute going or coming from Pleasant Hill. When I go to SFSU in August it will be a longer commute. Luckily I might take BART or go to a later class when there is no traffic going to San Francisco. I am so excited to be done with DVC.
