Welcome to the Hubble Telescope Gallery Series

Hubble Telescope Docked

The Hubble Telescope Gallery Series is the most complete and comprehensive collection of data of the Hubble Telescope from its initial deployment until the end of 1995. The general public has seen so very little, and the telescope has done so much. For those who are on the web, you may ask why would a disk like this be any better than what you can view and download from Hubble's Web site? True enough, but how much time would you have to spend downloading everything. Also, the data is rather sketchy prior to 1994, and some of SL/9 has been removed. I have it all! As an additional bonus, I have included many pictures that have not been officially released! The information is public domain, but not readily available. Volume 1 (1990 to 1995) contains over 400 pictures, including all Press Release information regarding the Jupiter-SL/9 encounter in 1994!

Volume 2 is in the works, and also proves to be another blockbuster of data. Right now, it incorporates 1996 to the end of 1998. This may be extended depending on the amount of data and limitations of the software I am using to create the CD-ROM.

Another project I am working towards is a special edition of SL/9. The Hubble Telescope took over 400 pictures of the event, and maybe 1% has been seen by the public. I will show it all.

Another added bonus is that I include all Press Release text, background text, and animations that explain the significance of the Hubble observations. Many collections I have seen are nothing but glorified clip-art catalogs that contain a 2-line explanation of the picture. This does the public a disservice. The theories that are confirmed, discarded and started over, or whatever is as fascinating as the pictures themselves. Since all the information is public domain, all pictures, text, and animations, are readily available to be printed out from the CD-ROM. So if you want to make your own color print out of M-16 the "Pillars of Creation", you can. If you want to load the file into a graphic editor and make it your wallpaper, you can. All graphic files are full sized JPEG files. If you want to print out the press release text in its entirety, you can load the file into your favorite word processor and print it out.

How much is it? Glad you asked! The cost is only $15.00 (U.S.) plus tax (7.75% California) and shipping of $5.00. This is no "glorified clip-art disk" of Hubble observations, but a true compilation of pictures and text of scientific exploration and discovery that mankind has not seen since the days of the Apollo moon missions. You may have seen the rest, now GET the BEST!

If you are interested in this disk, send me E-Mail. I will send mailing information in how to send the payments. Currently I am not set up for credit card transactions, so I will accept check or money order. Check transactions will slightly delay the process so that I can be guarenteed that the funds are good. I hope to be doing this for a long time, and when the new Space Telescope gets deployed, I'll be there cranking out disks of more incredible pictures of out Universe
