In 1984, Eastern Provincial Airways, one of Canada's major regional airlines, was merged into Canadian Pacific Air Lines of Vancouver. But the story of Eastern Provincial, or EPA as it was affectionately known, can be traced back as early as 1941 and forms an intricate part of the fascinating place aviation has had in Canadian history.
