This guy sure looks like he's ready to fly!

From mid-March to Mid-April not very much work got done for a variety of reasons.  Once I got going again, it was time to start making the multitude of brackets that eventually get welded onto the fuselage structure.  Back to the not so exciting part of construction! Brackets, brackets, and more brackets!

Through February and early March 1998  things looked like this while the fuselage is welded up.

The fuselage sees the first light of day, while the construction table is being disassembled to make space for  final welding
Early February 1998

Tack welded into position - and with the jigs removed - January 1998

Jigs to help in fitting the diagonals and cross pieces - December 1997
The fuselage is starting to come together (November 1997)

The completed elevator and stabilizer assembly. (well almost completed - Any sharp eyes see what additional structure needs to be added?)
