Jacksonville is my home. It is a city of about 15,000 people and it is located in the piny woods of East Texas. Jacksonville is the hometown of Country & Western artists Neal McCoy (you have probably heard at least one of his songs) and LeAnn Womack (a rising C&W star). Two colleges are in Jacksonville: Lon Morris College (LMC) and Jacksonville Baptist College (JBC). Radio Stations KOOI, KEBE, KBJS, and KSIZ are in Jacksonville. The transmitter for KETK-TV is nearby.

Tyler is a city of about 75,000 people and is nestled in the piny woods of East Texas. Tyler is located between Dallas, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana. Tyler is famous for its roses and the annual Azalea Trail fair in the Spring. Actress Sandy Duncan lived in Tyler for much of her life before going into show business.
