World War II ended on August 15th 1945 and now 57 years later the aircraft used during that struggle seem to have taken on a romantic theme just like we imagined from the aircraft of World War I.

Lately with very few vintage airplanes flying and it is very rare that some of us ever get to see one, I'm trying to allow us to at least look at photographs of these beautiful and rare birds.

There are pictures of trainers, fighters and bombers, probably some you've seen and maybe some of you have actually had personal contact with.

The entire site has been accomplished by manually coding the HTML with the Advanced HTML Editor and EZ File Upload provided by Geocities. Trying to comprehend using frames with HTML certainly has been a challenge.

I hope everyone will enjoy this nostalgic look at World War II Aircraft.
