The BSA, like other organizations, has had its ups and downs throughout history.  However, no other organization can claim the sheer strangeness and silliness that has become embedded in the BSA due to its unique founding and struggle to survive.  These next pages take you through a brief history of the BSA so that you may appreciate both the angst and joy that has befallen upon the BSA in the past.  (If I were you, I'd pay attention because there will be a quiz at the end of this.)
