Mohammad Farhad Omar is in the IT industry for the 8 years now in IT Education, Software Development and Information Systems Technology Management. Before holding the position of Chief Technology Officer for the Bizibody Team, he was managing the IT needs of Khattar Wong & Partners as the Information Technology Manager. His Software Development Skills was in demand when he managed the Motorola Retail Dynamics Analysis Intranet site; an intranet based marketing data mining software. He was also involved in Motorola Channel Direct Online site, which is a vendor management intranet site. He has also set up a smart card based access system for University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur using Linux.
He has been in IT education since 1996 when he held the position of Graduate Studies Department Manager where he was responsible for managing and conducting three Computing degree courses from University of London, University of Central England and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Modules that he taught include Project Management, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Data Structures, Java and Information Systems Management. Currently he conducts courses for the Management Development Institute of Singapore University of Bradford Degree in Computing.
He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Stirling, Scotland. His main research area was studying the Strategic Use of Fiber Optic Technology in Information Systems Management. He has attended certification courses for Microsoft Certified Software Engineer and Novell Administrator.
