Comments: Greetings from Ireland.My childrens pet is a 11 hands high welsh mountain pony.He suffers from sweet itch.It is caused by the midgets and flies biting and then feeding on his skin.It causes the pony to over itch itself o the extent of about 30% of its hair being lost and the skin breaking.I have tried several powders and shampoos with out success.I fed the pony garlic for several months which helped but did not cure. On the advice f my local vet we treated him with "Decco Metro" or maybe it was called "Deppo Metro" which helped on the short term but did not cure. Any advice would be most welcome. Kind Regards.

Comments: I have heard about a new drug just released into the USA for respiratory problems. The drug has been used in Europe for 25 years with great results, I do not know the name of this drug but it is similiar to Vicadon, again the name sounds like this. Can yo be of help?

We got a standardbred foal which is today one month old. Everithing is OK, except the foal is still stnadning on his heels on rear legs. It is much better than it was after foaling, but it is not as I would like to be. I know that in some foals it takes a time to the joints to become normal. Am I worried to much?
