MARK SMITHS BIOGRAPHY.......

CENTER>

I was born in a little place called Corryong on the N.S.W / Victoria border . I grew up in Geelong, Victoria. Currently I'm a senior photgographer with the Melbourne Herald Sun, the largest selling daily newspaper in Australia with 1.5 million readers daily. I find photography a fascinating occupation even after quite a few years in the industry. Every day I'm at work I get given the finest camera gear money can buy, an unlimited suppply of film and all they ask in return is that I take good pictures. I live in Hoppers Crossing , about 30 minutes drive west of Melbourne. My other passion is aviation.I own two fullsize aeroplanes, a Cessna 150, and a Cessna 172. Before you think I'm some rich kid, they are both used by a local flying school for training which helps me pay their bills. I also fly radio controlled models, both helicopters and fixed wing.
