Conduction in a Sausage

In this page you will have a sausage cooking, without water.

Procedures

  1. At first, you will need a sausage (of course), two nails (esterile), one hair dryer with disassembled plug (don't trow away the plug; we'll use it later), two cables, a knife, a tile and finally a father.
  2. Assemble a plug with the two cables
  3. Enroll the other extremities of the cables on the head of the the nails.
  4. Cut in half one of the two cables
  5. Use the uncaped extremities of the hair dryer with the half cut extremity (on the 4th step) of the cables closing a circuit.
  6. Insert the nails on the sausage ends.
  7. Put the sausage over the tile.
  8. Be sure that the hair dryer is in the maximum stage.
  9. Connect the plug
  10. Make holes in some bubbles that can form on the skin of the sausage
  11. As the hair dryer slow down, put down une unit of potence
  12. Catch ketchup and moustard, two slices of bread and make a hot dog

Explanation

In between all the junks of the sausage, you have water and salt. As many people now, this is one of the best conductors. But it has its resistance. And the resistance generates heat. And the heat makes vapor of the water. This is what cause the bubbles.

You're maybe asking yourself ( I always now what you are asking yourself) : Why the hair dryer? The hair dryer exists so that you will not have 220V on the poor sausage, that will be burnt. I use the hair dryer because it's the best resistance: we can control the potence.
