I was born "in the outskirts" of Rome l'8/12/1971. I got the High School Diploma at Scientific High School "Pitagora" in 1990 and I joined the Faculty of Psychology - General and Experimental Psychology - att University of Rome "La Sapienza", where I got a degree cum laude in 1996 discussing a thesis in psychophysic of vision concerning the detector of radial and circular movement under the guide of Professor David C. Burr, one of the most important researchers of the visual system, who is also one of the refers of the famous scientific journal Nature. I developed my training at his Teaching. From some years I work in a informatic company as computer programmer, Fortè system manager and DBA.

Before I joined the Faculty of Psychology I thought to attend the Art School or the Faculty of Architecture, because I love drawing, especially the cats and the faces of the children. However, even if I undertook a different way, I continue to draw, when I can (I have got very little time), and to give as a present to my friends. I love very much also the music: I like, since I was a child, to play by ear the electronic keyboard. Moreover I can't do without listening the music: my preferred singers are Genesis (especially their early LP: Trespass, Selling England by the Pound, Nursery Crime), Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Angelo Branduardi, Lucio Battisti, Franco Battiato, Sting, and so on. About the classic music, my preferred composer is Beethoven. I love very much also the cinema, especially the vinage films; among the director that I prefer there are: Hitchcock, Charlie Chaplin, Nanni Moretti, Ingmar Bergman, Murnau, but I like very much also the more recent films, as The Piano, Qualcuno volo` sul nido del cuculo, Philadelphia, Apollo 13, Sostiene Pereira, Star Wars, Il ladro di bambini, Ladyawke, EnricoV, Out of Africa, Princess Mononoke, The Way to Home, The Lord of the Rings, etc..

Since I was a child, I was keen on any electronic device, I wished an electric toy train (as in the advertising!), I would have understood how toys, watches and other devices work within. When finally I could use the computer, a real passion was born inside me, which isn't at all opposite or irreconcilable to the other my interests, as for instance there are many graphic and of photo-retouching application packages. I always considered it an "ally", a "friend", with whom we can collaborate if we learn its "language" in order to communicate. I have never considered it as a distant and detached instrument or a wretched machine, because I think that it has immense possibilities if we approach to it with great curiosity and without fear.

Besides drawing, watching movies, listening music, programming etc, I love al lot mountains and trekking (as you can guess from my website's logo). A friend (Michele) has shown us many alpine itineraires. Another friend (Fabio) made a palm-pc utility, a sort of "winzip" written in Java.
