Albemarle Corporation, is currently seeking Sr. R&D Chemist. This position will be located in 
Baton Rouge.

Responsibilities include:
Entry-level process development chemist for transition metal and main group organometallic 
products, primarily polymer catalyst components. The successful candidate will participate in 
a team which supports our semi-commercial and commercial catalyst productions, as well as develops 
new products and processes for next generation systems.  Initially this position will involve 
laboratory work to evaluate cost and quality improvements for semi-commercial and developmental 
products.  The successful candidate will participate in safety and planning meetings as the 
technical expert on these projects.  

Requirements		 
PhD. in Organometallic Chemistry 
ACS accredited degree preferred 
Some experience in an industrial environment
Drybox and Schlenk techniques experience 
Safe work history
