 Our Analytical Research and Development Department:

Support Pharmaceutical Development and product registration filings by 
providing analytical method validation, product testing and stability including 
data analysis and writing scientific reports. Lead analytical technology
transfer activities with the Quality Control Department providing support as 
needed 

Job Description:

Leads multiple analytical chemistry studies, selects techniques and 
methodologies and provides direction to less experienced staff. Viewed as an 
expert in a particular aspect of analytical chemistry. Reviews findings, 
research protocols and results of projects and resolves problems, which could 
impact an entire business area. Assists in writing scientific papers. 

Scope - Has understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field. 
Uses that knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain 
solutions to complex problems. Provides work leadership to others. Interfaces 
with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus 
regarding project direction. 


Requirements
Background-BS and 4 years of related experience or MS and 2 years of related 
experience or PhD or equivalent and some significant experience, preferred. 
Generic or Pharmaceutical research laboratory experience in solid dosage 
forumlations, (tablets and capsules). Experience in HPLC, GC method 
development, method validation & technology transfer, dissolution and 
dissolution apparatus, stability indicating methods, & preformulation, within a 
cGMP, cGLP environment.
