The Model For Determination the Number of Taxi Drivers required in Novi Sad

- Integrated model for the taxi transport capacity management, designed on the basis of reproductive ability and the taxi drivers elasticity requirement.

For the need of Taxi Unions and Transport Managing Agency in Novi Sad, Transport Institute in Novi Sad has defined and developed the Managing Model for Developing and Functioning of the Taxi Transport in Novi Sad - NOTAMOD. Inside the scheme, for all subjects their interest and obligation is marked. Inside this Model, Transport Institute in Novi Sad has developed a new Model for determination the number of taxi divers needed, on the basis of 5 variables:

- elasticity requirement
- prices
- transport demand volume
- reproductively costs of the taxi drivers
- average number of drives

On the basis of NOTAMOD Model, the software is developing.

Novi Sad’s Public Agency for Traffic and Roads has defined the Decision About Auto-Taxi Transport, which determines annually requirement for number of taxi drivers. This number is determinated on the basis of NOTAMOD model simulation.

07. 17. 1997. On the Taxi Unions meeting it is decided that there is a need to, as soon as possible, start the process defined by NOTAMOD model.
