From the Sponsoring Chair
Mr. N.W. VanderBurgh

I glad to see that 707 Squadron has continued to be on the leading edges of the Air Cadet Program. 707 was the first to implement many new programs, and although we are not the first, we are certainly among the few that now have Web Pages. The internet will only serve to help the Air Cadet Program, because it helps in COMMUNICATION, a matter which I always preach about.

In the future we hope to have cadets communicating with cadets from across Canada and around the world. This, hopefully, will lead to a better understanding of everyone's roles, both within the cadet system and outside in the community. I'm sure we'll also get many new ideas which will help to serve the cadets of 707 Squadron more positively.

In closing, I'd like to thank the individuals who have spent so much time in designing the Web Pages, and in particular Mrs. Marie Rishea. Mrs. Rishea, your countless hours of hard work are reflected in the Squadron Newsletter and now the Web Page. On behalf of the Sponsoring Committee, thank you!

Remember, communication takes two actions: speaking and listening. Most people have little problem with speaking, however it is listening which people have problems with. As members of the Air Cadet Program, it is your responsibility to communicate effectively, otherwise little will be accomplished, and the cadets will not benefit from such a system.
