Tony’s Anthropology Page

Home Page
Welcome to my web page. This page has some information that I have personally compiled in order to highlight some important aspects of human evolution. Also, there are links to my two focuses in Anthropology: biological anthropology and archaeology as well as links to cultural and linguistic anthropology. I believe the Cenozoic era to be the most important era in history, as human evolution takes place during this time period. With this in mind, I developed a table with a time scale which gives the epochs, periods, dates and associated hominids, hominoids, and protohominoids. Click on some of the genus names for images and information on them. Flint Knapping and other native technologies are also a great interest of mine. On my flint knapping page are some of my favorite flint knapping and native technology links. In addition there are images of points I have knapped along with explanations of where the material was procured. If you know of some good links I've left off or want to discuss your own passion for flint knapping - e-mail me. The archaeology page has links to a migration route map I developed and has pictures of and links to projects I have been involved in. My hope is that you will find interesting and useful information on all these topics. I will continue to add new images and information so visit often!
