I have posted this Youth Pray Cabinet in ASC Forum for a few months already. The sermon by Revd Robert Ward at 7.30 a.m. English Service inspired further the Youth Pray Cabinet. ( Ward represents secular political or economical constituencies). Revd Ward refers to the famous Characters in Hebrews 11 as the witnesses in Hebrews 12. As we advance for the SEA Youth Mission Congress in Telupid at the end of May, 2000, we have to reflect on this. So each of the portfolios should be named after those famous names of Faith like Abel, Cain, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, Gedeon, Barak, Samson, Jephthae, David, Samuel and the unnamed person in Hebrews11:30 of Jericho - Joshua. Each of these portfolios should pray after those secular National and State Ministries. For example, Noah for Communications and Infrastructure; Abraham for Finance; Moses or Joshua for the Prime Ministers or Chief Minister. David for Defence & security; Sarah / Rahab ( women for home makers) for Home Office; etc. This is to encourage the Youth to take up the urgent tasks of pray warriors. The adult congregation can also adopt similar Pray Cabinet. So we are focussed in the Name of Christ. We can use the cyberspace for this empowerment. We can post those relevant issue in eForum and then email Cabinet members with the relevant pray points. Joshua Kong

I was regular to the English Service and also the Wednesday's (night) Bible Study Group from late 1981 to late 1986 at the All Saint Cathedral. And I also remember a few of the Young Working Adult members ; Chris Voon,Florence Voon, James, (if I am not rong) who used to share the Bible with me (and they often 'belanja' me also).
