This is the radio for my '64 Cutlass. I gutted everything out of it except the five push buttons, the face plate  and the knobs.  I then stuffed it with the electronics from a late model GM radio. It was quite a project but I'm glad I did it. Now I have a radio that looks stock but sounds good.

This is what the radio looks like when it is off and when it's on. The LED display board was relocated behind the AM lens.

Above is a view of the bottom side. You can see the board mounted micro switches that are depressed by the five pushbuttons on the front of the radio. Also note the bass and treble slider assembly (top right) that will stick out of the bottom of the radio. There was no way to locate these on the front.

Above is a top view. Note the relocated control pots and lengthened shafts. These controls were originally mounted on that small PC board. I had to unsolder them and mount them in line with the shaft holes.

Here's a closer look at the micro switch assembly. They are for set, seek, scan and two pre-sets.

The right control is for AM/FM select, tuning and fader.

Here's the left control for power, volume and balance.

This is the back side of the display board relocated behind the AM lens.
