Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

After many trials and error I tried something different as to go around in circles. If you don't have a specific goal in life, one direction is as good as another and circles do not really matter. So I decided to try something different. I would locate my Spiritual position and work my way forward from there.
Because of a lack of knowledge, Christians tend to grow and mature very slowly or not at all. We need to understand that we grow in the Spirit just as we grow in the natural. We grow from rebirth to the stature of Christ, just as we grow from birth to adulthood in the natural - this Spiritual growing process takes us OUT of Egypt THROUGH the wilderness INTO Canaan. It is important that we understand the significance of this journey.
OUT OF EGYPT is the departure of the worldly way of living. 2 Corinthians 6:17 come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
THROUGH THE WILDERNESS is also a moving and growing process; this is not a campground. Attitudes are changed from moaning and complaining to attitudes of praying and worshiping. This changes is what enables us to finally get through the wilderness.
Hebrews 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness

INTO CANAAN – signifies our entering into the promises that God has given to us. You are going to take possession of your land (promises) Joshua 1:3 every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

As we read how God’s people were led out of Egypt into the wilderness to ultimately the Promised Land we can see the road Christians have to walk. We must walk it with our eyes firmly fixed on your goal.

If we divide the human being into three parts – body, soul and spirit and deal with each one separately, we will find this process much easier to understand.

Let us put this puzzle together now, Egypt is the symbolic of the world and our spirit is going to get re-born here.
Wilderness is symbolic of the fleshly desires and our souls are going to get changed.
Canaan is the symbolic of all God’s promises and we are going to experience the fullness of what God has created us for. Our bodies are going to get healed here. This is where we learn how to discipline and care for our bodies.

We also have three enemies to recon with – the world, our flesh and Satan with his demons.

The world as enemy
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of THE WORLD is ENMITY with God? Whosoever therefore will be a FRIEND of the WORLD is the ENEMY OF GOD.

The only one way to overcome the world is by choice. In the lives of a newborn Christian’s there will be many opportunities to make a choice. You will either choose the world or God.

The flesh as enemy
Romans 8:13 For IF YE LIVE AFTER THE FLESH, YE SHALL DIE: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

To overcome the flesh is to mortify, (degrade, crush and confound) it. It’s a painful process but to die to self is very profitable for our spirit. It’s the only way to die to self. We may often regret that your flesh is not a demon, if it were; we could simply cast it out. But we can’t neither cast out flesh nor bind it. It has to die. (Kill it) God wont send an angel to kill your flesh, nor will the demons kill your flesh for you. Demons will stir your own flesh to help you to bring forth a work of the flesh. Its up to you to kill your flesh.

Satan and his demons as enemies.
Ephesians 6:12 For we WRESTLE not AGAINS FLESH and BLOOD, but AGAINST PRICIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST the RULERS OF DARKNESS, AGAINST SPIRTUAL WICKEDNESS in high places.

There are different ways to overcome demons and his activities. We need to be spiritually dressed for this battle. The Armor. Demons are not playmates and we need to be spirally matured to handle them. Many Christians is back in the world because of the doing warfare as babies in Christ.
