My
name is Darsono
Tjokroamidjojo (cho-cro-ah-me-jo-yo), I also have a Chinese name, Zhou Wen Cai. I was born on May 26, 1973 in
Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia; a place where I lived for 19 years, a place where I completed my elementary school-Petrus Christian Elementary School, a place where I completed my junior high school-Petra 2 Christian Junior High School
and a place where I completed my senior high school, St.Louis Catholic Senior High School (at Surabaya-Indonesia, not St.Louis, MO). After that, I went to University of Wisconsin-Madison. I successfully
got two degrees (B.S
and M.S) both in Industrial Engineering. Currently, I am still
at school because I am pursuing a Ph.D degree at University of Arkansas-Fayetteville,
specifically at the Department of
Industrial Engineering. As of now, August 2000, I am starting my third year
in the program. My area of specialization is applied
operations research in supply chain, transportation and inventory
management. I have had variety of projects ranging from manufacturing design,
service type industry, material handling and most importantly operations
research applications. My recent and current project is about transportation routing problem which have been co-sponsored by The
Mack-Blackwell Transportation Center and J.B.
Hunt Transport, Inc. I also have worked at Mercari Technologies to do research in inventory management system project. Here is my curriculum vitae.
I
am also a Christian meaning
that "I have been crucified with Christ; it
is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now
live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave
Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20). In my life, I aspire to obey God and His words and to love others.
