| Happy Anniversary Janice!
Well my friends, here we
are, celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary (and almost 11 years
since we first met: 8/26/92). Okay,
show of hands: how many people
didn’t think we’d last this long? First, I need to thank Mary
(& Leamon) for bringing this wonderful lady into the world, and raising her
to be the incredible person that she is! You’ve
got a daughter with class, dignity, intelligence, beauty, integrity and humor. My darling Janice, thank
you for saying “I do” 9 years ago. You
made me the happiest guy on earth. You
made me the luckiest 11 years ago when we found each other, especially given the
series of coincidences that occurred to bring us together.
God’s hand was truly responsible for guiding us to each other. At our wedding, we said: In
this world of uncertainty and confusion, we
two have found each other… different
yet alike. We
have grown together in
love and understanding. Those words are as true
today as they were then. It’s
still a crazy world, and we’re still “different yet alike”. The best thing is that we’ve continued to grow together in
love and understanding. Thanks for teaching me the
joys of snuggling. Thanks for
always being there for me, even when I may not seem to want it (nurse Ratchet).

Most of all, thanks for respecting me for who I am, and being someone I
could respect and admire in return. Did
I mention snuggling? I love you my sweetie, now
