This is the Residence of the Bishop of Wurzburg.  It was finished in 1744 after 24 years of construction.  It was an all right place to see, but no where near as interesting as the Fortress Marienburg.

Here I am at the west courtyard.  It did have some pretty nice grounds. 

The two pictures above show some of the damage done to the Residence during WWII.  In the top picture, you can see a mirror that miraculously survived the bombings.
