This is a shot of the very first time I ran the coil. The shots below are after some tuning, I had severe primary/secondary arcing which forced me to lift the secondary nearly 6 inches above the primary plane. I then had severe racing arc problems which I solved by adding a second small toroid immediately above the secondary. Note the flouro tubes, the one on the far left is nearly 4 metres away from the coil.
