I coded a
Windows CE app in embedded Visual C++ 3.0 using a reduced set of the WIN32
API available for NT/98/95/Me applications and using MFC. This app is for
car-auditors to go to car-dealers and enter some information about cars.
Later, send this information to an Oracle centralized database through the
internet. I ported this app to embedded VC++ 4.0 and another hardware a
DAP with StrongArm CPU machine using Window CE.NET 4.2. This software is
very sophisticated using Reports, IRDA communications, back-end
synchronization, and an extended UI supporting two types of displays, one
640-240 and the other one 640-480. The database originally used was
CodeBase 6.0, but started to migrate to use SQL-CE 2.0 accessing the
tables using ADOCE 3.1. |

TAPI Service Provider drivers for the HICOM 300 line of PBX for the phones
Optiset and Rolm. This includes the installation, user interface and the
underlying signaling mapping to meet the TAPI specifications. The driver
has several layers and several threads developed using CWinThread MFC
classes. Also sustaining a telecommuting program developed under VC++ 6.0
that works with TAPI and uses TCP/IP to talk with the server program that
reside in the NT server and is connected to the PBX with a Natural
Microsystems AG board. The TCP/IP part is straight socket programming.
This application also support English and German labels. All the
configuration data is stored in the registry, and MFC classes are used
extensively over all the code. |
