Reached the rank of Leutnant, shooting down 117 enemy aircraft in 400+ flown missions. The highest award conferred was the Ritterkreuz des Eisernes Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub. Captured and made prisioner of war on 09/11/1942. (go back)
