The baggage and fuel strakes cutouts are done. They are measured just below the longerons. Cutting was difficult, my sabre saw was not very effective, so I just drilled pilot holes all the way around and 'connected the dots' with the saw. Note: In the backround you see my fiancee's 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.
I'm considering purchasing the strakes pre molded and constructed from Aerocad . This will save considerable time, and they will be well construced. The cost is about three times as much as me building from raw materials though.
