E-mails of several US veterans are listed with their stories. They granted their permission to include this to answer questions about the war, particular information on their units and service from anyone who might view the page.

Do not request that they send photographs and personal memorbillia. These items were hard won. They belong to the vets and are their families legacy. I have suggested that they never part with these items as they would possibly not see them again. If you do wish to write to any veteran for research purposes be courteous and include a stamped self addressed envelope. Realize that some of them would need a secretary to answer all their mail. Remember that these men and women are in their late 70's to early eighties and have active lives and much better things to do. Lastly, do not forget to say thank you for giving their time.
