Squadron combat is another way to fly Aircombat. The rules and the techniques are quite different from normal One-On-One combat. Briefly:-
A squadron has three pilots,
No airtime points.
Points only given for an intact streamer,
If your streamer is cut, you must land immediately.
When you're flying as part of a Squadron, you must be careful about what you attack. You can easily "shoot down" one of your own squadron members in the heat of the moment. Depending on how it is arranged, you may only have the colour of the streamers to be able to tell friend or foe apart, or possibly the enemy squadron is flying all the same type of aircraft, so you can recognise him from his outline. Below is a table (for information only) showing some examples of the possible available configurations. The best case (for both ease of friend/foe recognition, and realism, is given on the top row, getting progressively worse as you go down each row.

The following table shows some possible aircraft for use. The rules state that you can only use a 15 size engine.
However, 21 (Yellow) and 25 size (Purple) aircraft have been built light, and fitted with a 15 size engine, and still are
competitive. There are 21 and 25 sizes included, that could be used with a 15 size engine.
Biplanes and aircraft with fixed undercarriage are not listed but are also a possibility.
