WORK EXPERIENCE

Laies Bucher,GmbH.      Trier, Germany

Completed an 8-week internship in Trier, Germany with Laies Bucher, a major producer of industrial presses and mixers. Duties included studying the factory’s operation, testing presses and mixers for customers, as well as aiding in the development of new mixer prototype. I worked with modern, computerized drilling and milling machines, as well as learning the programming involved in operating them. I also helped analyze the production and processes of making refractory bricks for several customers.

University of Dayton Mechanical Engineering Department     Dayton, Ohio

Worked with Dr. Fritz Ostdiek, A professor of mechanical engineering. I helped design and build a fluid flow table for use in the department’s laboratory. I also did various duties for other professors in the department that included designing, testing, and construction.

Worked with items such as televisions, VCR’s, and computer projection systems. Managed delivery of equiptment to entire campus. Trained personel on Microsoft PowerPoint and Astound presentation programs, as well as video editting equiptment.
