Mt. Magazine State Park


Mount Magazine, the State's hightest point and the gateway between the Ozarks and the Ouchita mountain ranges and the national forests is the site for the first phase of Mount Magazine State Park. This first phase includes An 8,000 s.f. Vistior Information Center. A Pavillion, Toilet Building for the Greenfield Picnic Grounds, The Cameron Bluffs Campsite provides 19 new full service campsites for recreation vehicles. The Campsite also provides a new Bath House. The first phase also includes an Employee Residence and a Full Maintenance facility. The second phase will include a 60 room lodge, and resort for conventions and general recreation. Client: Dept. of Parks and Tourism



Kappa Sigma Fraternity House

This project included the remodeling of a 90 year old icon at the enterance of the University of Arkansas campus. This structure was in a critical state of disrepair. The improvements were made possible by some creative fund raising and vision by several dedicated members. The pre war annex was raised and a new three story dormitory was added in the English Tudor style to match the outstanding original structure. The construction also included the complete remodeling of an apartment building on the site. The completed complex provides a new dining hall and kitchen and housing for approximately 90 pledges and members. The apartment houses and additional 32 upper classmen. Family Practice II Medical Office Building

Family Practice II is a 25,000 sq. ft. medical office building. This brick and stucco building will house a MRI, a regional lab, and other dianostic facilites to support the Family Practice Group located in the Family Practice Building located just north of the site. The two structures are connected by an enclosed corridor. St. Vincent will manage the radiology group. The new facilities will provide needed medical services for the repidly growing west corridor of the city. The new structure will be under constructon in late September 2001.
