Since camping with a newborn is too much hassle, we went for an early holiday this year. Friends of us, Sara & Ed Oakeley, decided to join us with their sons David and Mark for a trip to the south of France in the beginning of May.
We visited La Botte, a beautiful place close to La Grasse in the Corbieres, France. This is the property of friends of Sjoerd's family and we have camped there several times before. It is located in the bend of a small river, the Orbieu.
After some dry days, we ran out of luck with the weather, after a whole day of rain our campplace was one big mudpool, here the 2 smartest guys who brought rubber boots!
