What is New Era Politics
New Era Politics is a philosophy
that resources should be used to provide the most benefit to the greatest
number of people. This is more than a simplistic agenda to take from the
rich and give to the poor. New Era Politics is spending more time coming
up with solutions that are fair and equitable to everyone rather than benefiting
the wealthy or the poor. It is also a philosophy of finding real solutions
to problems rather than suggesting a quick fix that can't be done and blaming
someone else for the problem. (Rush are you listening?)
The Republicans and the Right
fear such an idea because they have the most to loose. The Right consists
of the wealthy and average people that have been duped by Republican
rhetoric such as cutting taxes creates jobs, the rich create wealth and
the wealthy are penalized for their success. The scare tactics used by
Republicans and their consistent view that the wealthy are better than
and work harder than everyone else, is totally bogus. On the other hand
the Democrats do in many cases spend too much money and want the government
to do too much. There needs to be a balance between the two parties. To achieve
a balance is not easy and I do not offer any quick fix solutions.

take a jab at the Democrats when they deserve it. The Republicans have
may more flaws than the Democrats and they have Rush Limbaugh on their
side, who is an popular target of criticism.
