• It's a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, starting Sunday, April 2, 2000.
  This does NOT conflict with any major springtime holidays.

• We will be sailing on Holland America Line's MS Veendam.

• Ports will include St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas, and Half Moon Cay (HAL's private island in the Bahamas). Check out the complete itinerary.

• There is no minimum or maximum group size, there is no restriction on which cabins you may reserve, and our group rates don't expire. Prices will vary based on the number of people who sail with our group, but we already have a good idea of how much everything will cost. See the notes on prices below.

• If you reserve in 1999, you will need a $300/person REFUNDABLE deposit within 7 days of making your reservation. All deposits and payments will be refundable UNTIL January 1, 2000. Final payment is DUE January 1, 2000. If you reserve in 2000, full payment will be due within 7 days of making your reservation.

• If you're interested, reserve your cabin ASAP! If you want an inside cabin, I recommend the "Inside Guarantee" -- you pay for the cheapest cabin but you'll get something better if you book early enough. If you want an outside cabin, you'll get the equivalent of a 2-category upgrade (worth about $50) if you reserve before August 29.

• The group is going to attempt to have as many people together for dinner as possible. I suspect that most people (but not everyone) will want the late seating, so we will probably try for one group of tables near each other in each seating.

Expect to pay $750-850/person for an inside cabin, $1000-$1200/person for an outside cabin, $1455/person for a cabin with a balcony, or $2160/person for a suite. You will have to pay more initially, because we won't know the final prices until we know the size of the group. Let me know if this will be a problem, we can probably work something out.

- Prices are per person, for all 7 nights, based on 2 people per cabin.
- 3rd and 4th people in a cabin pay based on their ages:
      - Infants are $398, children (ages 2-18) are $638, adults are $738.
- Singles will pay approximately 150% of the group rates.
- All of these prices INCLUDE taxes and port charges.
- Airfare, alcohol, tips, shore excursions, and souvenirs will be extra, BUT...
- Prices also INCLUDE a few extras specific to our group, and...
- We will probably be able to get discounts between 5% and 15% off airfare.
