On Tuesday, January 27, 1998 on the Today show, Hilliary Clinton revealed the existence of a Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy. The next day on Good Morning America she said that people were going to be very surprised when they saw what would be coming out about "my husband's enemies", and she made the turtle-on-the-fence-post remark quoted above.
