We need thoughtful actions to lessen human-caused environmental degradation.
The good news is that there are hundreds of environmental organizations. The bad news is that they do not yet have enough clout to stop environmental degradation worldwide. Improving the environment is key to improving our future and what we do to the environment is key to whether we will have a future at all.
In human society how money is earned, spent and invested is intimately related to how positively or negatively we affect the environment. It is now possible to make a lot of money wrecking the environment and we must prohibit that through creative regulation and creative taxation. It is possible to make money helping the environment and we must encourage that through zero taxation for those who help and through creative research. It is possible to live a decent life without making a lot of money and without harming the environment and we must encourage that kind of appropriate lifestyle.
