Developing Software for Calculation of Child Support Awards

Intelligent Software Solutions related: , Installing and Customizing the DRL Schema

This page is reserved for a general discussion on the design of software for calculation of child support awards. It may include hot links to sites which provide access to or advertise child support calculation software. However, a more interesting purpose will be discussion on designing software that can provide the closest relationship to the traditional Constitutional process.

Software must be able to account for a wide range of circumstances, explain how it reached a particular conclusion, prepare comprehensible reports, and be easily adjusted as a result of new case law.

It has been obvious to me for many years, that a child support guideline is a type of expert system. Designing an expert system to make competent recommendations on the award of child support will certainly be part of the discussion here.
