Tired of a Teacher?
Wanna Tick Off Your Teacher, and NOT Get In Trouble?

First of all.... I have to give credit to some teachers who understand a teenagers view of things, and understand that we also have 5 or 6 other classes. REALLY consider the following when your ticked off at a teacher:

-Are you mad at the teacher or the class itself?
-Are you upset just because you don't do the work, and then you get mad at the teacher?

Well, some teachers are just absolute, 100%, truly, complete idiots. If your teacher is and you don't like it, take action.

First of all, you can almost always question their judgement. A way to make a teacher mad is ask, "Why is this of ANY importance?" or "When will I ever use this in life?" That will push a button on most teachers, but best of all, it's a PERFECTLY legit question. DO NOT be afraid to ask. What are they going to do? Give you a detention or something?

One of my personal favorites is to do all of the work in the class, but during class TOTALLY ignore EVERYTHING that he/she says (unless grading papers or something like that). I do this every single day to my business teacher. He hates it, and I'm getting a B in the class. This can also be a good time for day-dreaming, thinking.... If the teacher ever asks "Is there a problem?" reply politely, don't snap at them, and say "Sorry, this subject comes really boring to me, and it's hard to stay awake/focused." What can they do? After all, they asked the question, and you gave a perfectly honest answer!

Here is good one. Is there a class clown in your class that the teacher hates? When the clown makes a joke, whether it's funny or not, laugh!!! Encourage the class clown, and laugh for a long time, not loud, just enough to distract the teacher/class. Usually when one person laughs, the whole class will laugh. This is VERY distracting, and when it is done, it discourages the teacher. After all, laughing is a natural reaction.

This one really gets under a teachers skin. When a teacher is giving a lecture, ask a question about something he talked about 5 minutes ago. You will be participating in class, but you will set back the teacher. You could also make up a long story, just make it up as you go along, and drag it out. Usually it will remind another student of something... and the teacher will USUALLY (depends on the teacher) talk about what happened to you. Before you know it, you'll be so far off of the subject you will have killed 10-15 minutes of class time.

Last but not least... This is the simplest one, but probably the best. While the teacher is talking, let out a nice, long, and loud SIGH. This indicates that you are bored, and have no interest in what's going on. Yawning is very effective too.
If you are planning on doing any of this, tell a couple people in the class. If more than one person is doing these things, it will REALLY tick off the teacher.

Yes, there are many other ways to tick off a teacher. But not very many ways to tick off a teacher without being held after class, sent to the office, detention....

I'm open to suggestions for more ways, e-mail me at "Clister@geocities.com". I enjoy reading my e-mail. I won't just blow it off, I will really put it on my page, and put YOUR name next to it if you like.
