HIDEOUS BACKGROUND INFO ON THE NEW VERSIONS

There is so much information about the history of the texts used for translation in both the NIV and the KJV. I will attempt to put up as much as is practical. Let us begin by reviewing the owners of the NIV, the tranlators, and the text it was translated from.

The owners:

Who owns the NIV? The NIV was originally published by The International Bible Society but the printing rights were later sold to Rupert Murdoch's Harper Press which also publishes books proclaiming Jesus was a mystic and Mary was raped. So today a pornography, media baron Rupert Murdoch recieves the royalties from the book.

The translators:

Two renown scholars Westcott and Hort are to be thanked for their work, from which the NIV was concieved. Who were these men? Modern scholars report them as being great translators, men of God, keeping up with the times. But their is evidence to suggest otherwise. No I am not going to say they were freemasons, they may have been, I do not know. But they did belong to a special clique group of men known as the Members of Hermes. And who was Hermes, well this will shock you:

In Greek mythology, Hermes had winged sandals and a winged hat and bore a golden Caduceus, or magic wand, entwined with snakes and surmounted by wings. He conducted the souls of the dead to the underworld and was believed to possess magical powers over sleep and dreams. Hermes was also the god of commerce, and the protector of traders and herds. Despite his virtuous characteristics, Hermes was also a dangerous foe, a trickster, and a thief.

Hermes is entwined with snakes, conducted the souls of the dead and was also called a trickster and a thief. Who do you know that is the same as Hermes?

The text:

The two texts the NIV was formed on were the Vatinicus (so called because it came from the Vatican and has been there since 1481) and the Sinaiticus, because it was found at the bottom of Mt. Sinai in 1844. The Vaticanus includes two other books; the Epistle of Barnabus and the Shepherd of Hermes (there is that Hermes character again) and removes the book of Revelation. The Vatinicus being filled with "abominations and filthiness of her fornication" and "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." Rev 17. There is little need to go into the Vatican, the Bible speaks expressly.

Now for the Sinaiticus, it was found in the wastebasket (bin) of a cave dwelt monastery that contained a pile of skulls 8ft high and was filled with strange paintings and even contained the bones of one man still chained to the door reportedly on guard. Found by a man named Constantine Tishendorf and sold first to Germany and then passed on to Britain.
