Assistance Animal Advocacy is an organization united in one goal of eliminating discrimination on the basis of disability and being accompanied by an Assistance/Service Animal.
Our goal is to eliminate ALL Barriers to Equal Access. Such Barriers as questioning immediately upon entering any facility, constant harassment while in the facility, perpetual harassment at any given or corporate facility.
We advocate, in states where criminal laws are applicable, the immediate criminal prosecution of any individual who denies access, interferes with access, provides segregated access, or in any other way raises a barrier inconsistent with that states' laws.
We advocate, taking civil court action on both the state and Federal court level. The state has granted certain civil rights to it's citizens, and the criminality of that law does not address the civil actions providing remedies to the person with the disability. Federal laws provide civil protection for civil rights violations which are more directly designed to punish the discriminator without providing any great award to the person with the disability.
We offer this site for education, ideas and goals for any person with a disability accompanied by an Assistance/Service Animal to stop the constant bombardment of challenges to our Equal Access on a daily basis.
