Negotiations between the Federation’s Senior Officers and representatives of the Minister’s office and the DET have led to a document which all parties consider provides an appropriate settlement to the salaries dispute.
The Federation’s Executive considered this document at a special meeting on Thursday 25th May, 2000. As a result, Executive is recommending to members that they vote to ratify the document as an agreement between the DET and the NSW Teachers Federation.
The Federation will be providing explanatory notes on progress made in negotiations since the April 14 Skychannel meeting to all worksites as soon as possible.
