Welcome to my site. My name is Glenn Highcove, and I have been an avid scannist for about three years. During that time, I have found that the deluge of information out there can often confuse and mislead even the most experienced of scannists, not to mention all of the beginning scannists out there. In my searches on the net, I have discovered a need for both localized and broad-area scanning information. As I live in the West part of the San Fernando Valley (in Woodland Hills), I felt that a site that focused on the Valley and on L.A. City and County would be very helpful for those that live here.

What I hope to do is to create a site that will cross-index all of the interesting organizations and miscellaneous frequencies that any listener would be interested in. I have included various public safety agencies in the area, including the LAPD, the LAFD, LASO, LACFD, etc. Looking forward, I would like to create pages that list other business frequencies in our area (by location), so that no stone goes unturned in the search for new and interesting frequencies.
