Who We Are and What We Do

The St John's Regional Chapter and other Parkinson's groups in Newfoundland and Labrador are part of a nationwide network created and supported by the joint efforts of people with Parkinson's, their families and caregivers and the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada.

Together, we provide information, encouragement, and fellowship to people with Parkinson's and their families.

We inform and educate health care professionals, set up and run exercise programs, promote awareness of Parkinson's among the general public, and fundraise to support chapter activities and Parkinson's research.

You can call the national office of the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada toll free at 800-565-3000, wherever you are in Canada.

You can visit the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada web site at http://www.parkinson.ca/
