Hi---
My name is Fabiola Lopez and I am 28 yrs. old from
Managua, Nicaragua (Latin America)and I saw on a
National Geographic program about General Massoud way
back in March 2001. From the moment I saw him on the
television I was awestruck by such a dignified, noble
man. Even through the t.v. you could feel Massoud's
good spirit. I would have been honored to have met him
and know that he is with God now.
Me and my sister Alexandra are helping a clinic in
Rokha in the Panjshir Valley who also work with the
Afghan embassy in London. We have gathered university
students here in Boston, MA to help raise clothes and
money for the Afghan people. I hope that we can help
the people of Afghanistan any way we can. General
Massoud reminds me of an Afghan Che Guevara ( a Latin
American hero). I just wanted to say that in my
lifetime I will never see a man so noble with a golden
heart and spirit like Massoud.

Sincerely,

Fabiola L??????

   Dear friends.

Today is October, 11. One month ago I was in my office eating a sandwich and reading the newspapers in my pause at job. Then I saw the news that Masud had been injured in a terrorist attack. I suffered a shock. I comment it to a work mate, but she didn't know who was Masud. A couple of minutes later another work mate came from the street and told us about the attack to New York (he didn't know who was Masud neither). It was a relation between both catastrophes, I was sure. I thought I was living a nightmare.

I spent the following days looking in the papers any news about Masud's situation, I just expected that he was only wounded, but finally on Monday 17 I knew that he was dead. I felt as if all stars in sky had been extinguished. It was one month ago.

I hope that taliban regime will be soon defeated and that Afghanistan can be reconstructed. Masud had fighted for so long years to see that day. But he is not here anymore. Since Masud has dead, world is a darker place. All my love and admiration to Masud, in memoriam.

All my love and best wishes to friends of Afghanistan. From Spain, Adela.

Hello !

I am tired of all this that is happening !

It is time that someone does something !

Your people has suffered more than enough. The Taliban must be removed quickly.

I want to act ! I don’t want to sit home watching TV ! How can one fight for the Northern Alliance ?

I have some skills that could be usefull… please have a look and if my profile is interesting, don’t hesitate to contact me. I still have a valid commercial pilot’s license/airplane and many usefull skills…

Some people prefer to stay at home and contribute the way they can. The way I can contribute is to go in and propose my skills on the field.

I really belive that this is the best for my family and for the world…

I don't know who you are, but this is the most informative web site. (Well done, by the way.)

Because of your dedication and journalism, I have learned many things from this site and your links, before I learn of them on the national news!

What I really want to say, is that after reviewing, forwarding the link to many national/worldwide news agencies, and even corresponding, I feel only helpless. What Can I Do? On behalf of Massoud, the people of Afghanistan, the United States, the world... what can I do to help? I wish there were something...You need another Northern Ally? I'm determined and I'm there! Lead the donkeys with refugee rations? I'm there!

You may not respond, but please know that you're effort is generating at least some of the anger, questions, passion and support you may have been aiming for, and I'll do my best to enlighten others.

Respectfully,

RESPONSE

Dear Rebecca and all other friends of people of Afghanistan,

We thank you for all the support that you have displayed towards Afghans.  After two decades of imposed war on my country, and oppression by the forces of darkness, the Taliban, Pakistanis and Al Qaida, we are still proud to be in a position to say no to extremism, terrorism and barbarism.  We are thankful to God.

I would like to make a very bold point that there are many noble people living in Pakistan, and it is not the people of Pakistan that we refer to, it is one small but secretive and powerful organization called ISI.  Verifiably, roots of the evil imposed on the world by these terrorist can be traced to a handful of Generals who have been running ISI for the past couple of decades.  These elements include Gen. Pavez Musharaf, the current ruler of Pakistan, Rtd. Gen. Hamid Gul who runs Harakat-ul-Mujahideen.  Harakat-ul-Mujahideen, previously knows as Harakat-ul-Ansar was placed on Washington's list of terrorist organizations in the near past, forcing the group to change their name.

It is time now to expose these elements and hold them accountable for what they have created.  The Taliban, Harakt-ul-Mujahideen, Al Qaida,  and many other smaller groups in Kashmir.

You can help out struggle by targeting terrorist in it's incubator, the satanic circle of ISI.  Please make an effort to share information on this matter with your friends, representatives and government authorities.  You may request setting up of an international task force to investigate conditions in Pakistan where thousands of terrorist who fled Afghanistan are hiding.   You may ask your law makers to stop trusting the government of Pakistan, and it's military.  Expel all Pakistani army from the UN peacekeeping forces.  ISI is the largest beneficiary of drug trade  in the region.  Ask your congressmen to find ways to dry up resources on ISI.  Do not allow terrorism to hide behind the so called "Islamic Bomb" (ISI's term for its nuclear weapons).

Thanks.
Webmaster

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS BEAUTIFUL AFGHANISTAN!!
When I visited the country in 1971 I was touched by the
flair of traditionalism and modernity and especially by the
hospitality of the Afghanis of any ethnic background.

Of course, political turmoil and the invasion of the Sovjets
started the problems and the following fractional fighting
deepend the differences.
But to topple the tragedy, there came the talibans as socalled liberators!!!
But soon they appeared to be a bunch of religious ( religious
in this term is a insult to every religion) madmens, who deprived the majority of  the people of their rights, especially
the women. And the worst: They invited all villains, criminals
and lunatics who digged themselves in like moles and rats.
This is not what this country deserves! I hope and pray for a better future
for Afghanistan and a SALUTE to Your late Great Leader MASSOUD!
Greetings from Austria  M. Curroa
