ADVANCES IN TECHNOLOGY

Technology is an ever evolving, adapting and concurring form of disease.  It has infected our society causing almost every known man-made problem on Earth.  Everywhere you go, a machine is either using you or watching you in order to gather information.  In todays society information is power.  This information increases company's knowledge bases so they can become stronger and propel themselves higher up the corporate ladder.  The smarter the companies get, the smaller and more powerful the machines become.  There is already a new technology racing over the horizon called Nanotechnology.  Biological machines created by humans, small enough to enter our bodies undetected and begin working on whatever they have been programmed to do.

The machines are evolving at enormous speeds, faster than us.  The enemies in our computer games have artificial intelligence that has evolved from just standing and shooting, to enemies capable of teaming together and developing the most proficient strategic plan of attack against you in order to kill you.  The artificial intelligence on public display in our games show intelligence far beyond the average humans.  And this is only in games, imagine what the likes of the American government agencies have in development.

When nuclear technology was first being developed, everyone looked at the benefits it would have in creating electrical power, but it was primarily developed as a weapon.  This kind of technology is only "safe" if it can be controlled.  In the wrong hands it has the potential for world destruction.  The same can be said for our advances in computer technology.  If we create artificially intelligent machines for war or medicine they have to be controlled.  If future terrorists get hold of Nanotechnology, they could create machines far more destructive than any form of natural biological diseases we have ever seen.  How do the military factions think they are going to be able to control a future war machine exhibiting intelligence far beyond there own?  Once again, it will be another weapon of mass destruction in the hands of terrorists.  But the justification will always be that society needs it to become stronger and to protect us from the tyranny of terrorists.  But why are terrorists as strong and threatening as they are today?  Because they have access to the very same technology and weapons like nuclear bombs that have been developed in the past.   The technology cannot be controlled!  Terrorists of the future will also have intelligent machines of destruction, as they become available.  When will the escalation stop?

Society has failed to open its eyes and accept the horrors that have befallen us, and realise the causes of children as young as 10 committing murders, and mass slayings of school children by teenagers.  Governments have been saying "its the guns, take away the guns".  Guns dont kill people, people kill people!  Our society has been severely squeezed to the limit from our advances in technology that influence our behavior.  Society has failed to stop and say ENOUGH!

Because society is so blind and brainwashed, so called "terrorists" like the Unabomber, have taken it upon themselves to do something about it.  They have tried to take down the people and companies responsible for such technological advances in the hope that others will stand up and follow.  These "terrorists" are trying to save us and naturally the fearful governments have to lock them up because they are "destroying" our "wonderful" society.  We need to immediately destroy the companies and governments responsible for the mess we are in today.  We need to get back to our roots, back to living off the land like our simple ancestors who were in control.  When the greatest and only responsibility was looking after ourselves and family in order to survive.  These days we have lost control and are faced with nuclear accidents, environmental pollution, world wars, increasing taxes, big brother, stockmarket crashes, to name but a few.

America has already fallen off the edge and is plummeting into the depths of no return.  And as always, like lambs to the slaughter, Australia is following right behind trying to catch up to America.  It’s a race to the very bottom.   Australian governments are now of the belief that they must produce more information technology professionals so we can rival the greater countries in the future.   Australian universities are pushing the information technology faculties to produce more IT professionals by making courses easier to pass.  Subject difficulty has dropped dramatically and OP scores required to qualify for IT courses have also decreased significantly.  Australia is constantly  trying to follow America’s example as if they are the golden country.  Compare every other country in the world to Australia and you will find it impossible to beat the low-tech benefits Australia has to offer to society.  And yet who are we trying to follow?

A country whose government consistently carries out biological warfare tests on its citizens.

*    1955 - Tampa Bay Florida was infected with Whooping Cough by the Central Intelligence Agency.

*    1965 - Prisoners in Philadelphia subjected to dioxin, a key component in Agent Orange defoliant.

*    1987 - Department Of Defense admits to continuing its biological warfare research in 127 locations throughout the US.

Wouldn't Nanotechnology come under the umbrella of biological warfare?

A government that tried to take control of individuals minds in order to create the ultimate killing machine through the CIA’s MK-ULTRA program.  A country whose youths have taken to killing each other in gun shooting orgies.  A country where nobody can be trusted and school children have to go through metal detectors and security checks before being allowed into schools.  But America does have its good points, and they probably outweigh the bad points.  But the negatives can't be ignored, and the cost of human casualties and standard of living should not be able to buy anything resembling a consequential benefit.
