Human beings - not dollars nor weapons |

I'll illustrate the world today by asking a couple of questions: "Which country is the most powerful?" & "Which country is the most populated?" You're right! The answer isn't the same & that's what scare me!! Because that means that it isn't each person that has equal value today, but money & the army. :o( One dollar is one dollar either you use it in Burma or the US. Mines & tanks has the same authority wherever in the world you look. It's horrible that even the UN is just a mirror of how the world appears today. There the power is devided in three rules; nations [the general assembly], economy & military [both the security concil]. Even though "The Declaration of Human Rights" was created by the UN, the human rights have little space in the organization of the UN! |

I want to be the loosers' spokesman. Therefore I'm very engaged with the children's rights, criminals, poor persons, immigrants, philosophical/religious minorities, homosexuals, pacifists & other groups that aren't respected in our society. The most disgusting proof that something is totally wrong with our planet is all the millions of landmines that kill & hurt lots of children [& other people] each day! :o( |

That part of my political view I'm most proud of is what I've called "unbordering of the world", or federalism. My strongest dream is that one day all people, in each city around the globe, will speak both Chinese, Spanish & English fluently! How wounderful it wouød be if we had a world parliament where all political power in the world was located! The European Union is driving along that road already, while they give the European Parliament greater & greater power. Some of my dreams seem unrealistic in a short perspective, for instance changing the world into a pacifistic paradise. Costa Rica is still the only country that has removed the army. & they did it more than 50 years ago! What has happened after the cold war finished? Almost nothing! Other of my dreams have already started developing. I'm enjoying each second toward the year 2002, when the Euro removes the national monetary unit in at least 12 countries & the time the Eastern European countries join the EU ! :o) |
