YOU NEED NARFE and NARFE NEEDs YOU....NARFE's tireless efforts on our behalf have resulted over the years in the repeal of the Medicare Catastrophic Surtax, defeat of efforts to eliminate and further delay our COLA's, the defeat of an effort to lower the survivor benefit for spouses and attempts to raise the retirement age. No matter how hard NARFE works for us, without the membership numbers to give us clout in Washington, D.C., these endeavors would be useless. MEMBERSHIP NUMBER IS CLOUT BECAUSE WE VOTE!! We need all Current and Retired Federal Employees to join us. This will give us added strength in the constatnt battle to save our earned benefits. We must all work together to preserve the benefits that we worked so hard to earn. One way to do this is by renewing your membership, signing up your spouse, letting current federal employees know that we need them to help us now so that their benefits will be there when they retire. It is more important now than ever that we have members to help us in the fight to protect our earned benefits. As NARFE members our voices can be heard!
