Moral rights of artists
In June 1994 the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department issued a
discussion paper entitled "Proposed Moral Rights Legislation for Copyright
Creators". The Society made a submission to
the Department, dated July 1994.
Australian content on TV
In July 1994 the Australian Broadcasting Authority (Level 16, 201 Sussex
St, Sydney NSW 2000) issued a discussion paper entitled "Australian
Content. Review of the program standard for commercial television". The
Society submitted a response dated
July 1994.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural industry strategy
In October 1994 the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (PO
Box 17, WODEN ACT 2606) issued for comment the Draft national
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural industry strategy. The
Society submitted a response dated June
1995.
Review of the ABC
In July 1996 the Australian Government announced a review of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, to be conducted by Mr Bob Mansfield (PO Box 1873, CANBERRA ACT 2601). The Society made a submission dated August 1996.
